Vivek Ramaswamy, a rising star in the GOP presidential race, recently made it clear that he has no interest in serving in a potential cabinet position if one of his fellow Republicans wins the presidency. In an interview on the Steve Hilton Show, Ramaswamy emphasized his intention to return to the private sector if his bid for the White House falls short.

“I would not,” Ramaswamy stated firmly, when asked about a possible job offer. “I believe the best way for me to bring about change in this country, if I’m not in this race, is through the private sector. I’ve been doing it so far, and I think it’s been effective. We all need to ask ourselves, how can we make our unique contributions?”
Ramaswamy expressed confidence in his ability to make an impact on the race, even if he doesn’t secure the nomination. He pointed out that the Republican party could benefit from more candidates with a background in business and entrepreneurship. “There aren’t many politicians who know how to build successful enterprises and achieve real success. Before this campaign, I was writing a book every six months, while also building my businesses,” he proudly stated.
While former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis are seen as the top contenders for the 2024 GOP nomination, Ramaswamy’s campaign has gained significant momentum. A recent poll by Echelon Insights showed him in third place, closing in on DeSantis. With 10 percent support, Ramaswamy’s popularity has increased by two points since the previous poll.
It’s refreshing to see candidates like Ramaswamy who prioritize private sector experience and success over political positions. Unlike many career politicians, he understands the importance of economic growth and job creation, which are crucial for the prosperity of our country.
