The Biden family scandal is starting to make even Democrats and the media acknowledge that there is a problem. ABC’s Jonathan Karl questioned House Oversight Committee Ranking Member Jamie Raskin about the money Hunter Biden received from China, Ukraine, and Russia, which contradicted what Joe Biden had previously said. Raskin tried to deflect the attention to former President Donald Trump, claiming that Trump had made the office about personal enrichment. However, this deflection doesn’t hold up considering the new bank records that showed the Bidens received over $20 million from foreign nationals with no real businesses. Raskin was forced to admit that Hunter Biden did “wrong things,” but he downplayed it by attributing it to his drug addiction.
Joe Biden said Hunter made no money from China, but "we now see from Hunter's own words that's not true. Does any of this raise concerns for you — the money from Ukraine, the money from China, the money from Russia?"

It’s amusing how Raskin tries to use the excuse of drug addiction to downplay the potential illegal actions displayed on Hunter Biden’s laptop. But the fact that Raskin acknowledges Hunter Biden’s wrongdoings contradicts Joe Biden’s repeated claims that his son did nothing wrong. It’s clear that the walls are closing in on the Biden scandal, and even though there are concerns about the appointment of Special Counsel David Weiss, it acknowledges that the scandal has touched the White House
