The political landscape is a battlefield, and some of our supposed allies don’t seem ready to fight. When a Republican Governor criticizes Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), you can bet it’s not going down well with those of us who understand the importance of enforcing our borders. Governor Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma has done just that, striking a chord of discord among conservatives everywhere. The remarks not only echo Democratic talking points, but they also weaken the conservative stance on immigration.
In places like Minneapolis, we’re witnessing a breakdown of law and order. Liberal leaders there have coddled criminals, refusing to cooperate with immigration agents. As a result, chaos reigns. Instead of standing firm against the tide of illegal immigration and crime, Stitt seems more concerned with appeasing left-leaning media outlets that never have, and never will, support our cause.

It’s baffling to hear any Republican questioning the clear objective to deport non-U.S. citizens who violate our laws. Without enforcement of our borders, we cease to be a sovereign nation. That’s the crux of the issue. If you don’t deport criminals, you invite lawlessness. It’s that simple. Liberals love to turn a blind eye to this reality because it doesn’t fit their fantasy of open borders and unrestricted migration.
Stitt mentions state rights, but where was his voice when the Biden Administration trampled over this concept to push their open-border agenda? It’s as if some within our own ranks are forgetting what we voted for—a secure border, enforced laws, and an America that stands uncompromising in its values. The American people didn’t support Trump’s immigration policies for them to be tossed aside in a fit of political naivety.
In times such as these, it’s crucial to remember that appeasement gets us nowhere. Strong, decisive action against illegal immigration is what voters demanded. You don’t negotiate your principles to gain the approval of liberal media. It’s time Republicans remembered who they serve and stop trying to please the very same media outlets that would love to see our borders vanish. If we lose our borders, what’s next? A nation without accountability? Don’t let the leftist narrative hijack our mission: to keep America a nation of order and law.
