This pointed choreography serves to remind voters that these vulnerable incumbents are willing participants in what the NRCC is labeling as “ultra-leftist policies.” A seasoned PR mastermind at the NRCC observed that these Democrats jumped at the chance to get behind Harris, completely oblivious to the fact that the average American is far from keen on defunding law enforcement, lifting borders, or dealing with inflated prices on everyday essentials.
The Republicans have enjoyed a good time hammering on Harris regarding the ongoing border crisis. After her appointment as the “border czar”—a title the White House would rather forget—conservatives seized the opportunity to hold her accountable for a calamity that has spiraled out of control under her watch. In an undisguised show of contempt, House Republicans recently passed a resolution condemning Harris alongside her firm refusal to act on record-breaking illegal immigration.
As the drama continues, Rep. Andy Ogles has thrown his hat in the ring with an impeachment effort against Harris. He accused her of “extraordinary incompetence in the execution of her duties” regarding the immigration debacle.
