In a recent interview, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a Democratic presidential candidate, revealed that he is considering running as an independent if the Democratic National Committee (DNC) doesn’t give him a fair chance at winning the nomination. It seems RFK Jr. isn’t too confident in the DNC’s ability to be impartial, and who can blame him? The Democrats have a history of playing favorites and rigging the game in their favor.
Kennedy Jr. expressed his hope that the DNC would open up the process and allow him to run, but based on his assessment, it seems that hasn’t happened. He even went as far as conducting polling to gauge his chances if President Biden were to step down. And guess what? His numbers are through the roof! They’re better than any other Democrat, including Vice President Kamala Harris. If that doesn’t make a statement about his popularity and viability, then I don’t know what does.
What’s interesting is that Kennedy Jr. is not just relying on Democratic voters. He believes he can appeal to Republicans and independents as well. Talk about a broad appeal! If he were to go head-to-head with Biden and be given a fair fight, Kennedy Jr. is confident that he would come out on top. He’s not afraid to take a sizable number of Republican and independent votes because he knows he can swing them his way. That’s something you don’t see from most Democrats.

Now, some people have accused Kennedy Jr. of being a Trojan horse for the Right, trying to weaken Biden’s candidacy. But let me tell you, that’s just not the case. If he were to run as an independent, he believes he would actually hurt the Republican Party more than Biden. Imagine that! He’s not afraid to go after both sides, proving that he’s a true maverick in this race.
In fact, just days after this interview, reports came out that Kennedy Jr. plans to make a major announcement on October 9th, where he will formally declare his independent run in Pennsylvania. The insiders from Kennedy Jr.’s campaign have indicated that he feels the DNC is deliberately changing the rules to exclude him, leaving him with no other option but to take matters into his own hands.
Folks, this is big news. Kennedy Jr. is breaking free from the shackles of the traditional two-party system and going against the establishment. The DNC is clearly threatened by his popularity and potential to disrupt their plans. But that’s exactly what we need in this country – a fresh perspective, a true outsider, and someone who is not afraid to challenge the status quo. Kennedy Jr. might just be the breath of fresh air we’ve been waiting for in Washington.
