Robert F. Kennedy’s presidential campaign seems to be gaining some steam, shocking members of his own party and causing a meltdown among Democrats. Kennedy’s recent decision to testify before the House Judiciary Committee has sparked controversy, with some Democrats labeling him as a racist due to his views on COVID-19.
Eddie Vale, a veteran Democratic strategist, didn’t hold back when criticizing Kennedy’s decision to testify. He sarcastically referred to Kennedy’s initials as standing for “Real F—ing [K]razy” and suggested that Kennedy should continue showing his true colors. Vale also accused Kennedy of promoting antisemitism and supporting Republican “nonsense.”

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre echoed Vale’s criticism during a briefing, condemning Kennedy for his remarks and alleging that they perpetuated racist and antisemitic conspiracy theories. Jean-Pierre emphasized the importance of speaking out against such claims.
Kennedy, on the other hand, pushed back against the antisemitism charge, taking to Twitter to dispute allegations that he believed COVID-19 was designed to spare Jewish people. During his testimony on Capitol Hill, Kennedy also challenged allegations he deemed as defamatory. The tense atmosphere reached a boiling point when House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan accused a Democratic member of trying to “censor” Kennedy.
This situation highlights the divisions within the Democratic Party and the growing support for Kennedy’s campaign. Kennedy’s willingness to speak out and challenge the status quo has clearly struck a nerve among his fellow Democrats, who seem desperate to discredit him.
