RFK’s Big-Bucks Bday Bash Tanks as Celebs No-Show!

Independent presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. recently announced his 70th birthday party fundraiser, which was supposed to be a star-studded event with high-profile celebrities. With Kennedy’s famous name and his marriage to TV star Cheryl Hines, one would assume that the guest list would be impressive. However, it seems like the guest list was more of a fantasy than a reality.

The Super PAC American Values 2024, which supports Kennedy’s White House run, shared a report from the U.K.’s Daily Mail about the birthday party and listed some big names that were supposedly attending. These names included opera singer Andrea Bocelli, boxer Mike Tyson, actor Martin Sheen, and singer Dionne Warwick. It all sounded very impressive, until it became clear that none of these celebrities had any plans to attend the event.

CBS News pointed out that celebrities like Warwick and Sheen publicly expressed their disinterest in the party and made it clear that they have no intention of endorsing Kennedy’s candidacy. Warwick even commented on the PAC’s post, stating that she knew nothing about the event and had no plans to be there. Sheen took to Instagram to clarify that he wanted nothing to do with Kennedy or his party, and voiced his support for Joe Biden.

As for Bocelli, one of his representatives told Rolling Stone that the singer will not be in the U.S. this month, making it highly unlikely that he would be attending the party. The status of Tyson’s attendance is also unknown.

It’s not just the celebrities who are distancing themselves from Kennedy’s birthday bash. Even Kennedy’s own campaign denies any involvement in organizing the fundraiser. With this list of no-shows and the lack of support from his own campaign, one has to wonder if Kennedy’s presidential hopes will tank after this disaster.
