RNC Chair McDaniel Slams 4% Ramaswamy’s Call for Resignation

The Chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, Ronna McDaniel, fired back at GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy’s sassy call for her resignation. “Last I checked, I wasn’t running for president. He’s at 4%,” Ms. McDaniel hilariously quipped, a direct hit at Ramaswamy’s lackluster support. She noted that Ramaswamy is just hungry for the limelight and looking for headlines. It’s evident that this guy is in need of a reality check!

During the Republican presidential debate in Miami, Ramaswamy, who was practically sitting in McDaniel’s lap, rudely suggested that she hop on stage and resign. He then had the audacity to label the GOP as “a party of losers” following some off-year election losses. What a nerve! McDaniel rightfully pointed out that Republicans actually want to hear solutions on tackling Joe Biden, the border crisis, crime, fentanyl, and education – not petty theatrics from a bottom-tier candidate.

Conservative critics have been questioning McDaniel’s suitability for the role, especially after a few recent election slip-ups. But she clapped back at those naysayers, blaming the candidates themselves for their losses in states like Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. “We’re a turnout machine, not the messaging. That comes from the candidate, and that’s up to them,” she explained on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” Go, Ms. McDaniel!

On the tricky issue of abortion, McDaniel recognized the need for the party to evolve its messaging but wisely deferred the policy talk to the lawmakers. She acknowledged the Democrats’ skill in making abortion a national issue and warned that Republicans must engage in the discussion. McDaniel’s strategic thinking and practical approach demonstrate her leadership and deep understanding of the political landscape. So, while the Democrats are playing jenga with the issues, McDaniel is advocating for a more thoughtful and considered approach.

Ronna McDaniel might not be a “policy person,” but she knows her lane and is paving the way for the senators and congressional members to work their magic. She’s not panicking when it comes to the Democrats’ push to make abortion a national issue, and she’s ready to grapple with the complexities of the topic. What a boss lady!
