Bernie Sanders just showed America his true colors again. The so-called Democrat socialist actually went on national TV to praise the brutal dictator Fidel Castro. This is the same man who wants to be president of our great nation.
Sanders told CBS that Castro had a massive literacy program when he came to power in Cuba. He asked if teaching people to read and write was somehow a bad thing, even if Castro did it. Sanders completely ignored the fact that Castro was a murderous communist who destroyed freedom in Cuba.
Here are the facts Sanders doesn’t want you to know about his hero Castro. The Cuban dictator executed thousands of political prisoners and threw countless more into filthy jails. He banned free speech, destroyed religious freedom, and turned Cuba into a communist prison island where people risk their lives on rafts to escape.
Any American politician who praises Castro for anything is completely out of touch with reality. Castro’s literacy program was nothing more than communist propaganda designed to brainwash Cuban children. The textbooks taught kids to worship the government and hate America and freedom.
This is not the first time Sanders has praised dangerous dictators around the world. He has made positive comments about socialist leaders in Nicaragua, Venezuela, and even communist China. Sanders seems to love every brutal regime that hates America and crushes its own people.
What does this tell us about Sanders and his radical agenda for America. If he thinks Castro did good things in Cuba, what would he do to our country if given power. Sanders wants government-controlled healthcare, education, and even our economy just like his communist heroes.
The fact that Sanders can praise Castro while real Cuban refugees live right here in Florida is disgusting. These brave Americans fled communist Cuba and know the truth about Castro’s reign of terror. Sanders is spitting in the faces of everyone who suffered under Castro’s boot.
Americans need to wake up and see Bernie Sanders for what he really is. He is a dangerous socialist who admires communist dictators and wants to bring their failed ideas to our free nation. We cannot let this man or anyone like him get near the White House.
