When asked about the possibility of teaming up with Trump as his vice president in 2024, Sanders didn’t miss a beat in emphasizing her adoration for her current gig. “Look, I absolutely love the job I have. I think it’s one of the best jobs I could ever ask for. And I’m honored to serve as governor, and I hope I get to do it for the next seven years,” she confidently stated.
Proudly showcasing her trust and confidence in Trump’s potential victory over Biden in a hypothetical rematch, Sanders highlighted the stark contrast between the two candidates, emphasizing Trump’s track record of success and leadership, while indicating weak spots in Biden’s performance. She proudly declared that Trump is the clear winner in the eyes of the voters when it comes to crucial issues like the economy, border security, and national security.
The media has been buzzing with rumors that Sanders is being weighed as a potential running mate for Trump in 2024, alongside other outstanding conservatives like Rep. Elise Stefanik, Sen. J.D. Vance, and Gov. Kristi Noem. Former U.N. ambassador and 2024 presidential hopeful Nikki Haley was also whispered about, but Trump firmly put those rumors to rest, stating that she’s not on his radar for the vice presidential position.
Adding to the excitement, Donald Trump Jr. chimed in on the discussion about potential vice presidential candidates, revealing that former Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson is still in the running. He even mentioned the revered Gov. Ron DeSantis and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson as possible options, though he joked that Carson might be “almost too nice for politics.”
