A rather alarming incident occurred recently adjacent to the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. A suspect, a white male in his mid-60s, was apprehended by Martin County Sheriff’s Deputies after a brief chase on I-95. Reports indicate that the man, who was seen carrying a rifle, was unarmed during his arrest and exhibited a surprisingly calm demeanor under the circumstances. One can’t help but wonder if the lack of anything in his hands was part of a strategy to avoid being labeled as “the typical gun-toting maniac” so often painted by the left.
The Secret Service was swift to respond as they spotted the man in proximity to Trump, who was simply trying to enjoy a round of golf. Upon seeing the suspect, trained snipers had their sights locked, ready to protect the former president. While there was some confusion surrounding whether the suspect ever fired a shot, the Secret Service did fire at him, proving once again that they don’t hesitate to take action when threats against Trump arise. Thankfully, a crisis was averted before it escalated, unlike some other less-than-stellar law enforcement scenarios one might remember from certain urban areas across the country.
