Senate Republicans Rally Behind New FBI Director To Tackle Biden Era Abuses

The newly appointed FBI Director Kash Patel is receiving some much-needed backup from Senate Republicans as he embarks on a mission to hold the Biden administration accountable for what has been alleged as the weaponization of the federal law enforcement agency. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan has stepped up to the plate by issuing a subpoena for essential documents that were mysteriously withheld during former Director Christopher Wray’s watch. It seems the Bureau had more good ol’ fashioned Washington red tape than accountability on the agenda.

In a meticulously crafted letter, Jordan laid down the law, noting that under the Biden administration and Wray’s so-called leadership, the FBI strayed from its primary duty of ensuring public safety. Instead, it seems they prioritized opacity and lackluster accountability in a manner that would make even the most seasoned bureaucrat blush. With a distinct lack of transparency, the FBI’s credibility took a nosedive, leaving America doubting the integrity of its law enforcement.

Jordan’s list of demands reads like a laundry list of accountability must-haves. Among them are inquiries into the Biden-Harris administration’s curious involvement in local school board meetings, the Richmond Field Office’s bizarre intelligence report categorizing traditional Catholics as “violent extremists,” and the administration’s alarming alliance with Big Tech to suppress free speech. Apparently, making a comparison between traditional Catholics and terrorists seemed like a good idea to someone somewhere in the Bureau.

Additionally, Jordan highlighted the concerning lack of urgency regarding the investigation into the January 6, 2021, pipe bomb incidents, alongside the troubling use of FBI confidential sources during that fateful day. You’d think with a significant event like January 6, the FBI would be all hands on deck rather than stuck in an endless loop of bureaucratic molasses. The use of the FACE Act to pursue partisan prosecutions also raised eyebrows, suggesting that political bias has been lurking in the shadows of federal law enforcement.

Thanks to President Trump’s strategic appointments of heavyweights like Kash Patel and Dan Bongino, there is a glimmer of hope in restoring the FBI’s original mission. The two-tiered justice system that has enraged so many is reportedly under siege, with Patel at the helm steering the Bureau back towards its original integrity. The message is clear: it’s time to drain the swamp around the FBI once and for all. Those who seek to hold the Bureau accountable and put an end to the Department of Justice’s politicization are being called to arms in a newfound movement.
