In today’s charged America, CBS News becomes a stage for conservatives to expose biased narratives. Senator Tom Cotton, a truth-teller in a sea of noise, set the record straight this weekend, demolishing liberal talking points with undeniable facts. When LA erupted in chaos over ICE operations, it was clear: the left couldn’t handle the truth, nor could they manage the bedlam they helped create.
In 2020, Cotton was labeled a villain simply for suggesting that federal troops could restore order amid national unrest. Fast forward, he stands vindicated. Liberals threw a fit then because they didn’t want to hear the reality of their own failures. Today, as LA burns with the rage of extremists throwing Molotov cocktails at police, that hard truth stands firmer than ever. It’s time to send in reinforcements to protect law-abiding citizens and restore order.
President Trump has the backbone many lack. He understands that when the apocalypse arrives in our towns, you don’t hide behind weak-willed policies. You act! By deploying the National Guard and Marines to Los Angeles, he did what any responsible leader would do: he protected American life and property from lawless mobs. How else do you stand up to chaos so vast it overwhelmed the LAPD? There’s no room for the wishy-washy liberal attitude of “let’s talk this out” when bricks are flying.

The left has a chronic allergy to law and order. Margaret Brennan, like many media figures, seems to be in denial. She tried to brush off reality by claiming the LAPD could handle the riot themselves—ignoring facts from their own police chief. These riots are a direct result of permissive policies gone wrong. These events show that when you flirt with anarchism, you invite disaster, plain and simple.
It’s laughable how the people who claim to stand for justice and democracy are the very ones inciting mayhem. Their anti-American bias blinds them. They’d rather see cities burn than admit they’ve handed control to violent mobs. And as the left rationalizes chaos, Trump’s decisive actions force a simple question: who do you really want defending your freedom, those who stand by and excuse the wreckage or those who act swiftly to stop it?
