Senator Fetterman Predicts Trump Will Triumph in Pennsylvania Over Harris and Biden in 2024

Senator John Fetterman, representing the heart of Pennsylvania, has managed to make a rather surprising statement: he seems to think Vice President Kamala Harris might have a tougher road to victory in the Keystone State than a tourist trying to parallel park in Philly. Fetterman is boldly predicting that Donald Trump, the political phenomenon himself, has Pennsylvania locked up tighter than a bank vault and will come out on top, regardless of which Democrat is in the race.

Ever since announcing his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election, Trump has not just maintained an edge in the polls; he has essentially built a political estate in Pennsylvania while Harris and President Biden struggle to keep their heads above water. Even Fetterman—currently part of the Democrat camp—seems to recognize that no amount of campaign glitter can distract from the fact that Pennsylvania voters are likely to swing for Trump, whether it’s against Biden, Harris, or one of her fellow confused Democrats attempting to make sense of where they stand these days.

Polling data backs up Fetterman’s inaugural assessment of the “Harris Highway” to nowhere. Recent surveys show Trump ahead of Harris by a noticeable margin, with Real Clear Politics indicating a lead of about 1.8 points. Bloomberg’s polling also shows similar results, with the former president enjoying a consistent lead. Even a survey from Hill/Emerson backs this up, with Trump continuing to pull ahead—showing that the only thing working for Harris is a strong gust of hope.

Interestingly, a tied poll from Fabrizio Lee and Associates claims that Trump and Harris are neck and neck at 48 percent. While Democrats may want to cling to this statistical lifeboat, 41 percent of those surveyed admitted they tend to lean more Democrat. Not exactly the rousing support that would inspire confidence heading into a crunchtime election.

Scott Presler, with his Early Vote Action, chimed in on the polling predicament, declaring that Pennsylvania remains a battleground state ripe for the picking. He made a point of linking Harris directly with the very real failures of the Biden administration, particularly in relation to the border crisis, ongoing international conflicts, and the struggle with the economy. The message is clear: if Republicans can connect Harris to these unflattering aspects, they will have more than a fighting chance to solidify their hold on Pennsylvania. It looks like the Democrats are going to have to roll up their sleeves if they want to stand a chance in the next election—otherwise, they might just end up getting trumped once again.
