Oh boy, brace yourself for this shocking revelation. A recent Gallup Poll just confirmed what we all knew deep down: Democrats aren’t exactly proud to be Americans. In fact, fewer than one in three of them can muster up any sense of pride for our great nation. I mean, can you blame them? It’s hard to be proud when you’re constantly pushing for big government, higher taxes, and the erosion of our beloved freedoms. But I digress.

So, here’s the breakdown. The poll found that a whopping 67 percent of all respondents, including 60 percent of Republicans, are “extremely” or “very” proud to be American. Sounds pretty strong, right? Well, get ready to chuckle, because only a measly 29 percent of Democrats can say the same. Talk about a party pooper.
Now, I have to admit, I’m not even sure how that 29 percent managed to show any pride at all. Maybe they accidentally clicked the wrong button on the survey or were momentarily confused about which country they were in. Who knows? All I can say is that I’m shocked the number is that high. It’s like finding a unicorn in a field of donkeys.
But wait, there’s more! It turns out that age also plays a role in this lack of Democratic patriotism. While 50 percent of adults aged 55 and older proudly proclaim their American exceptionalism, only 18 percent of those between 18 and 34 can do the same. Ah, the wonders of youth. It seems the younger generation has been brainwashed by the left’s propaganda machine, which paints a bleak picture of America as a land ruled by heartless corporations and greedy conservatives.
Which brings me to a fundamental difference between conservatives and liberals. Conservatives tend to separate their love for this great nation from the destructive policies of the Democrat Party. We understand that loving our country doesn’t mean blindly supporting every misguided decision made by the left. But liberals? Oh, they’re a different breed. They conflate their hatred for conservatism with hatred for America itself. It’s a sad, deluded mindset, really.
Now, let’s not forget the 2024 presidential election. It’s gonna be a big one, folks. The future of our nation hangs in the balance. We can’t afford to screw it up. So, let’s do our part to ensure that the party that actually loves America has a fighting chance. Because, let’s face it, without conservatives, this country would be on a fast track to becoming another failed socialist experiment.
So, there you have it, folks. The truth has been laid bare. Democrats just aren’t feeling the American pride like the rest of us.
