Shocking Twist: Most Americans Back ‘Racist’ Voter ID laws, Say Dems Have It All Wrong!

The Democrat Party’s playbook is all about cheating and changing the rules when they can’t win fair and square. Take the intentional Biden Border Crisis and the 2016 presidential election as prime examples. Hillary Clinton may have won the popular vote, but Donald Trump clinched the Electoral College victory. The Democrats couldn’t handle it and started crying about how the EC was outdated and unfair. They desperately wanted to get rid of it, but thankfully that didn’t happen. Fast forward to 2020, and they were still up to their old tricks, changing election laws to favor their own candidates. They pushed for mail-in ballots and opposed voter ID laws. Let’s be clear: Democrats don’t want to make it easier to vote; they want to make it easier to cheat.

But what do the majority of voters think of all this? According to a recent poll by the Honest Elections Project, a whopping 88 percent of registered voters support photo ID laws. So much for the Democrats’ claim that it’s all about racism. Even Black voters and non-white minorities are in favor of voter ID, with 69 percent and 82 percent support respectively, according to a 2021 Rasmussen Reports poll. Support for voter ID laws has actually increased since 2018, with 67 percent of respondents back then saying that voters should provide a photo ID before casting their vote. It’s not just Republicans either; 60 percent of Democrats and 77 percent of independent voters also support voter ID. The Democrats can try to cry foul, but the facts are clear.

The Honest Election Project survey also revealed that left-wing mail voting policies are rejected by Americans across the board. The majority of Americans, 76 percent to be exact, prefer voting in person over voting by mail. They also think that automatically sending ballots without a voter’s request, vote trafficking, and late ballot arrivals are all bad ideas. Americans believe that every ballot should be received by Election Day. When it comes to early voting, 66 percent of Americans are all for ending no-excuse mail voting as long as states offer two weeks of early in-person voting, including weekends. Even Black and Hispanic voters agree, with 55 percent and 69 percent respectively supporting limiting mail voting to specific groups like military service members, senior citizens, disabled voters, and citizens who will be absent on Election Day.

Americans want limits on mail-in ballots and shorter periods for early in-person voting. The majority, 78 percent, believe that states should offer 14 days or less of early in-person voting, and 52 percent support just seven days or less. Even 57 percent of Democrats are on board with this. Only 13 percent of Americans think early voting should start more than a month before Election Day. The message is loud and clear: voters from all backgrounds and political beliefs are rejecting the Democrats’ easy-to-cheat laws.

It’s time for the Democrats and their allies in the media to stop playing the race card and start listening to the American people. Americans want secure and fair elections, and that means having voter ID laws and limiting mail-in ballots. The Democrats can keep trying to cheat, but the voters have spoken.
