In the overly dramatic saga of the so-called Russiagate, liberals like Virginia’s Democratic gubernatorial candidate, Abigail Spanberger, never fail to amaze with their dedication to a debunked narrative. As a tapestry of her past media appearances circulates on social media, showcasing her relentless claims about Russian meddling, it’s clear she’s clinging to a falsehood. Spanberger’s audacious moves to paint the 2016 election as hijacked by the Kremlin are nothing more than attempts to grasp at straws, a theater of the absurd that places her expertise into question.
Spanberger’s claims about Russian election tampering are hollow. The Senate Intelligence Committee and former Homeland Security officials have repeatedly stated that there was no change in vote tallies or voter registration info. Russia’s ploy was a weak attempt at social media influence, nothing more. It was a meme war, meant to sow division, targeting communities to suppress turnout with no tangible impact on votes. Yet the left inflates these actions as pivotal to Trump’s victory. Laughably, their narrative is that without Russia’s “help,” Trump wouldn’t have won—a claim resting on clouds and fantasies.

Spanberger wears her CIA tenure like a badge, but if anything, she’s failed to grasp the facts and act with integrity.
It’s time to call out liberal incompetence wrapped under a guise of faux patriotism. Spanberger and her ilk will go to any length to serve a political agenda, ignoring the truth. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds. Why should Virginians put their faith in a candidate so willing to lie when it suits her side? Her inability—or refusal—to face reality is just another example of liberal overreach and disingenuousness.
Virginia voters need to ask themselves: Is this the leadership they deserve? A candidate who thrives on deceit and fearmongering? Spanberger’s resume might boast of espionage expertise, but her record tells a tale of betrayal and shortsightedness. It’s time for Virginians to choose leaders who stand for truth, not tired conspiracies.
