The Squad Demands More from President Biden in Gaza Ahead of State of the Union Address
It seems like the Progressive Democrats, also known as the “Squad,” just can’t stop demanding more from President Joe Biden, especially when it comes to his handling of the conflict in Gaza. These folks have been raising a ruckus over Biden’s support for Israel during the War in Gaza, and now they’re at it again, insisting that his latest efforts just don’t cut the mustard. Talk about a tough crowd!
Despite the administration’s efforts to provide aid to the struggling Palestinians in Gaza, like dropping supplies from the sky and even proposing to open up a port for more aid, the progressives are stomping their feet and demanding even more. It’s like giving a kid a cookie, and they throw it back at you demanding a brownie instead!
Reps. Jamaal Bowman, Cori Bush, and Ilhan Omar have been yapping to anyone who will listen, basically saying, “Hey, Joe, you need to do more to end the suffering of the Palestinians, pronto!” They want Biden to put the kibosh on Israel’s actions in Gaza, calling for an immediate ceasefire and laying out a whole laundry list of demands like releasing hostages and creating a pathway to peace for the Palestinians. Talk about high maintenance!
They even admitted that they aren’t holding their breath for Biden to deliver the goods in his upcoming State of the Union address. So, what’s the point of all this noise if they don’t believe their whining will get them anywhere? It’s like they just enjoy the sound of their own voices, bless their hearts.
But wait, there’s more! These folks aren’t just about bashing Biden. Cori Bush, for one, is trying to play nice, claiming she’s all about saving lives and protecting democracy come November. She’s hiding her support for Biden behind a veil of concern for human lives and our great nation. Real smooth, Cori, real smooth.
In the end, it’s clear that the Squad isn’t shy about making themselves heard, even if they know deep down that they probably won’t get what they want. But hey, at least they’ve got a knack for making noise and gaining attention, right?
