Two students from Texas universities were kicked out of school this week for mocking the death of conservative leader Charlie Kirk. The disgusting videos show these young people celebrating and making fun of a man’s murder. This is what happens when our colleges fill kids’ heads with hate instead of teaching them right from wrong.
At Texas Tech University, student Camryn Giselle Booker was arrested for assault after she mocked Kirk’s death in what the school calls a “free speech zone.” She argued with a student wearing a Make America Great Again hat who was holding a sign that said “Rest in peace Charlie Kirk.” The whole sick display was caught on video for the world to see.
Another student at Texas State University was also expelled for the same vile behavior. This student was filmed imitating and mocking how Charlie Kirk died. Governor Greg Abbott saw the video and demanded action, saying “Mocking assassination must have consequences.” He was absolutely right to call this out.
Texas State University President Dr. Kelly Damphousse acted quickly once he saw the disturbing footage. He said the behavior “trivializes and promotes violence” and goes against everything the school stands for. The student was identified and removed from campus immediately.
This is the poisonous fruit of years of leftist brainwashing in our schools. These students think it’s funny when conservatives die because their professors have taught them we are the enemy. They would never celebrate if a Democrat politician was murdered, but they cheer when it happens to one of us.
Governor Abbott and other Texas leaders showed real backbone by condemning this hate. They understood that celebrating political violence cannot be tolerated in a civilized society. These universities finally did the right thing by expelling these students before their poison could spread further.
The parents of these expelled students should be ashamed of how they raised their children. When reached for comment, one mother had nothing to say about her daughter’s disgusting behavior. That silence speaks volumes about where this hatred really comes from.
This whole episode shows why we need to take back our schools from the radical left. Until we root out the teachers and administrators who fill young minds with political hatred, we will keep seeing this kind of evil behavior. Our children deserve better than this toxic indoctrination disguised as education.
