In a courageous display of resistance, students at Loudon County schools in Virginia took matters into their own hands by staging a walkout against the absurd policies that allow students to use bathrooms based on their “gender identity” rather than their biological sex. These young patriots are speaking out against Policy 8040, which was shamelessly adopted by the county school board in 2021.
And can you blame them? These students are rightfully concerned about their privacy and safety. Imagine starting your day off in a locker room, only to find members of the opposite sex invading your personal space as they shower and prance about. It’s an absolute travesty! One brave male student aptly pointed out that having natural-born males in the locker rooms goes against everything they believe in. It’s about respect, people!
But it’s not just the locker rooms that are causing unease. Students don’t want to feel uncomfortable while changing after football practice either. And rightfully so! How would you feel if you were a female changing with a male? It’s a valid concern, and it’s high time that these students’ voices are heard.

Yet, instead of addressing these genuine safety concerns, the Loudon County Public Schools (LCPS) simply dismisses them as the ramblings of right-wing crazies. How dare they! These students are not crazy; they are simply demanding to be free from danger in their own school building. It’s a basic request that should be honored.
To make matters worse, some female students have expressed their fear of this so-called “gender-inclusive” policy. They’re rightly worried about their safety and privacy. They share their frustrations about being ignored and claim that they now avoid using the bathrooms altogether out of fear. It’s outrageous that young girls have to hold their pee just to protect themselves. And let’s not forget about those insecure PE girls hiding in bathroom stalls just to avoid potential intruders. This is not the America we should be handing down to the next generation.
This is not the first time we’ve heard stories like this. Scott Smith, a concerned parent, testified on Capitol Hill about his daughter’s traumatic experience sharing a restroom with a “transgender” student. Smith was even removed from a Loudon County school board meeting for daring to speak up about his daughter being sexually assaulted by someone dressed as a boy in the girls’ bathroom. It’s heartbreaking to see how the school board prioritized protecting their administrators over the safety of innocent children.
Thankfully, this fight is not limited to Virginia. Students in the Perkiomen Valley School District in Pennsylvania also staged walkouts to protest the use of women’s restrooms by biological males. And guess what? Their efforts worked! The school district promptly reversed its misguided policy. It’s a glimmer of hope that standing up against these absurd bathroom policies can have a real impact.
It’s time for school districts everywhere to listen to the voices of concerned students and parents. It’s time to prioritize safety, privacy, and common sense. The well-being of our children should never be compromised for the sake of political correctness. Let’s put an end to these dangerous policies once and for all.
