The Supreme Court heard arguments this week on one of the most dangerous and misunderstood loopholes in American law: birthright citizenship for the children of illegal immigrants and foreign “birth tourists.” Anyone who cares about national security, our borders, or even common sense should be outraged by what’s happening in the highest court of the land.
A nation that rewards people who break our laws by handing automatic citizenship to their children is a nation begging to be overrun. Yet here we are—the United States stands practically alone among developed nations in clinging to this bizarre interpretation that anyone born on U.S. soil is entitled to a passport to all our rights and entitlements. It’s insanity, pure and simple. Globalist elites love this chaos, of course. It feeds their hunger for open borders and dilutes American sovereignty for their own gain.

Listening to the Court’s back-and-forth, it was downright jaw-dropping to see even the liberal justices talk tough about sticking to the Constitution’s original intent. Suddenly, they’re pretending to care about what our founders actually meant, instead of inventing “living Constitution” excuses like they usually do to twist the law any way they please. The left’s hypocrisy has no limits—on guns or free speech, they say language can just “bend” with the times, but when it comes to giving citizenship to the kids of masses of illegal immigrants, they discover their inner constitutionalist.
Meanwhile, the so-called conservative justices aren’t exactly lighting the torch of liberty, either. Rather than taking a bold stand for securing our laws, some want to fall back on weak old court precedents and avoid rocking the boat. This “conservative caution” is exactly how we get steamrolled by radical leftists and globalist judges. If Republicans and their appointees would actually fight for our nation’s future instead of hiding behind technicalities, we wouldn’t be trapped in this mess.
America can’t survive if we keep letting the world’s problems march through our front door and anchor themselves here by exploiting birthright citizenship. The stakes couldn’t be higher. If the justices don’t end this madness, what will be left for future generations of Americans? How long do we have to suffer the consequences of a broken system before Washington finally wakes up? The left blows smoke about compassion and fairness, but the truth is plain—this is about destroying America from within. Are we just going to sit back and let them finish the job?
