Swing State Voters Likely to Reject Biden in Next Election

In a recent poll by the New York Times, folks in some crucial ‘swing states’ are saying, “No way, José!” when it comes to voting for President Joe Biden next time around. The survey found that a whopping 52% of voters in these swing states are giving ol’ Biden the cold shoulder for the next election, with only a measly 4% saying there’s a chance they might still toss a vote his way.

Surprisingly, amongst these folks declaring a hard pass on Biden, some actually voted for him in the last election. Talk about a change of heart! To add a sprinkle of irony, a good chunk of them even consider themselves Democrats. Biden must have really dropped the ball somewhere if even his own party members are turning away.

Now, to stir the pot a little more, former President Donald Trump appears to be leading the pack in five out of six of these swing states. If this trend keeps up, it’s looking like Trump might be making a big comeback tour for the next election season. The surveys also pointed out that issues like the high cost of living, immigration, conflicts like Israel’s war in Gaza, and a general thirst for change are dragging Biden down in the eyes of the voters.

It seems that even some groups that were once solidly in Biden’s corner, like young voters and Hispanic folks, are now looking more evenly split between him and Trump. And hold onto your MAGA hats, because Trump is actually getting over 20% support from Black voters, a number not seen for a Republican since the days of the Civil Rights Act back in 1964.

This eye-opening poll checked in with over 4,000 registered voters in key states like Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. With the margin of error kept in check, these numbers might just be the writing on the wall for Biden’s reelection hopes. Let the political rollercoaster ride begin!
