Staff ReportsIn the land of freedom and opportunity, there comes a time to draw a line in the sand. Mahmoud Khalil, a Syrian national who shouldn’t have set foot on American soil, has shown his true colors. He was front and center, leading violent, pro-terrorism riots at Columbia University. His shockingly cavalier rationalizations for a massacre perpetuated by Hamas on October 7 cannot and should not be tolerated. These horrific acts resulted in the loss of American lives—leaving grieving families and a nation demanding justice.

Khalil championed violence under the guise of defending the so-called Palestinian struggle, claiming it was unavoidable due to the peace talks between Saudi Arabia and Israel. When someone like Khalil justifies the slaughter of innocent civilians—including men, women, and children—their place is certainly not among us. His actions and associations should never have been permitted here in the first place, demanding decisive action.
This is exactly why our nation is safer under President Donald Trump’s policies. His administration is acting with resolve to revoke Khalil’s green card and ship him back to a country where his dangerous ideologies won’t further threaten our values and citizenry. Unlike the previous administration’s careless approval of such individuals entering our homeland, there is now a firm commitment to upholding the security of the United States.
Even more troubling is the so-called Council on Islamic Relations (CAIR) graciously footing Khalil’s legal bills. Let’s call it what it is: an organization with deep ties to terrorism. Despite claiming to defend American Muslims, its true alignment with terror is a slap in the face to honest, hardworking individuals who contribute positively to our society.
Ask yourself: how much longer can we afford to play nice with those who condone and support violence against our citizens? The reality is clear. Strong leadership and unwavering policy are the only paths to a truly secure America. The time for half-measures has long passed. The course is simple: we must remain firm, stand by conservative values, and never waver in the defense of our great nation.
