CNN anchor Jake Tapper has dared to question the effectiveness and sustainability of public lockdowns. Finally, someone in the mainstream media is willing to challenge the authoritarian measures that have been forced upon us! Tapper rightly pointed out that the decision to impose a complete lockdown during a manhunt raises some important questions. Are these lockdowns really necessary? Do they actually keep us safer, or do they just breed fear and anxiety?
Jake Tapper's New Argument Against Lockdowns Is Rock Solid. There's Just One Problem

It’s about time someone like Tapper spoke up. How often have we heard those dreaded words, “shelter in place”? It’s been hammered into our heads during the COVID-19 lockdowns, and now they want us to do it all over again for a manhunt? Give us a break! Tapper’s logic is spot-on. Lockdowns are simply unsustainable in the long run, and they can worsen public anxiety. Bravo for challenging the status quo, Tapper!
But here’s the real hypocrisy that the mainstream media conveniently ignores. Where was this questioning and skepticism when it came to the lockdowns imposed in response to the pandemic? We were told to sacrifice our freedoms, shut down our businesses, and isolate ourselves indefinitely. And for what? To supposedly keep us safe from a virus with a survivability rate of over 99% for the majority of the population.
If only Tapper and his fellow media figures had applied the same critical thinking and asked the same tough questions about the COVID lockdowns. Maybe then, we wouldn’t have witnessed the devastation of small businesses, the rise in mental health issues, and the erosion of our constitutional rights. It’s frustrating to see this double standard play out before our eyes.
It’s time for a reality check. Lockdowns only serve to control and manipulate the population, not to protect us. We, the American people, deserve better than being treated like mindless sheep. It’s refreshing to see Tapper challenge the narrative and question the effectiveness of these drastic measures. Let’s hope more people in the media follow suit, so we can have an honest discussion about the true costs and consequences of lockdowns.
