Ted Cruz Exposes Biden’s Border Blunders Amidst Surge in Cartel Profits and Crime

Senator Ted Cruz recently made headlines while taking a sledgehammer to the Biden administration’s policies, pointing out that the mass deportations of criminal illegal aliens reveal a troubling reality: the government always knew exactly where these dangerous individuals were hiding. Cruz discussed this on a recent episode of Breitbart News Daily, showing just how disastrous the current administration’s approach has been for the United States while simultaneously bolstering the cartels’ operations.

Cruz commended the recent deportation efforts as nothing short of “spectacular”. The fact that the Biden administration seems to suddenly have a handle on the chaotic situation at the southern border—complete with Marines and Border Patrol agents actually enforcing the law—raises eyebrows. For years, the Democrats turned a blind eye while known criminals roamed free. Now, thousands of murderers, rapists, child molesters, and gang members are finally being apprehended and sent packing, proving that these offenders were, in fact, known entities all along.

The senator made a compelling argument about the egregious negligence under the previous administration, hinting that the Democrats, including Biden and Kamala Harris, intentionally turned a deaf ear to the issue. Cruz couldn’t help but express his gratitude for President Trump, who is now resurrecting the call for a fortified border. The narrative here is clear: the American people are fed up and want protection. In Texas, the sentiment is even stronger, with citizens demanding a secure border.

The senator did not ease up on the Democrats’ role in the crisis, attributing their open-border policies to a gross misallocation of resources. Cruz noted that while Democrats invest heavily in organizations that undermine national sovereignty and facilitate human trafficking, Mexico is suffering immensely. The staggering statistic he shared—that trafficking revenue for Mexican drug cartels soared from around $500 million in 2018 to a jaw-dropping $13 billion last year under Biden—paints a grim picture. This kind of exponential increase in cartel profits illustrates just how detrimental open borders can be for America and its southern neighbor.

Cruz emphasized that this devastation isn’t just an American issue, it spills over into Mexico, which is rich in culture and history yet plagued by violence due to the empowerment of these transnational crime organizations. With NGOs cozying up to cartels, he believes the current administration must take decisive action to cut off funding and eradicate these criminal enterprises before more lives are lost and communities are torn apart. The stakes are high, and the urgency to act could not be clearer.
