According to a memo obtained by the DCNF, a member of al-Shabaab, a notorious terrorist group, was captured at the border in March but was astonishingly released into the United States. It turns out that this terrorist was not a “mismatch” as the border authorities initially claimed but had actually made it onto the terror watch list in January. It’s like letting a fox loose in a henhouse and then wondering why all the chickens disappear.
Taer revealed that a memo issued after a terrorist attack on October 7th warned Border Patrol about the potential infiltration of other terrorist groups like Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah. It’s like advertising a “Terrorist Welcome Party” at the border.
House Majority Whip Tom Emmer of Minnesota, rightly alarmed by this terrifying revelation, has demanded an explanation from Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas. It’s about time someone held the Biden administration accountable for their reckless policies.
To make matters worse, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported that over 302,000 illegal immigrants crossed the border in December alone. And this is just the tip of the iceberg! Nearly 380,000 illegal immigrants were encountered at the U.S.-Mexico border in the first two months of fiscal year 2024. It seems like the Biden administration’s idea of border security is giving out free passes to anyone who can find a ladder tall enough to climb over the wall.
