Terrorist’s Wife Stirs Chaos at Columbia: Can We Trust Our Campuses?

In the latest Columbia University saga, protests turned violent as over 200 police officers swooped in to quell the unrest caused by pro-Hamas demonstrators. The university president, Minouche Shafik, had to call upon the NYPD to restore order after weeks of chaos, including disturbing calls for violence against Jews. It’s truly alarming to see such anti-Semitic behavior on a university campus.

What’s even more concerning is the presence of the wife of a known terrorist, Sami al-Arian, who aided Palestinian Islamic Jihad. This woman, still connected to a dangerous individual, is openly protesting and causing havoc with Columbia University students. It begs the question – why is the wife of a terrorist even allowed to remain in the U.S.? This is a clear security risk that cannot be ignored. If she maintains ties to her terrorist husband, she should be deported immediately.

Mayor Eric Adams hinted at “external actors” fueling the protests, indicating a larger plot at play. The NYPD’s swift action led to the arrest of at least 50 protestors, with more charges pending. It’s crucial to crack down on these lawless actions to ensure the safety of all students and faculty, especially the Jewish community who reported increased harassment during the protests.

The protestors’ behavior, from hurling insults at the NYPD to making outrageous demands for “humanitarian aid,” is utterly disgraceful. Equating the police to the KKK and Israeli forces is not only inflammatory but shows a severe lack of respect for law enforcement. The fact that these individuals feel entitled to disrupt campus activities and demand special treatment is appalling.

In times like these, it’s vital to support law and order and condemn any form of terrorism or violence. Columbia University must take a stand against these disruptive protests and ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff. Let’s hope that justice prevails, and those responsible for instigating such chaos are held accountable for their actions.
