In a surprising turn of events, Republican Congressman Ronny Jackson found himself in a bit of a pickle at a Texas rodeo. The former White House physician, who had served under both Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, was allegedly handcuffed and pushed to the ground while trying to assist a 15-year-old girl who was experiencing a medical emergency. Talk about a wild ride!

According to reports, the chaos unfolded at the White Deer Rodeo when Jackson sprang into action to help the teenager. However, in the midst of all the commotion, law enforcement got their wires crossed and mistakenly detained the helpful congressman. It’s a good thing he wasn’t sporting his white coat, otherwise, they might have thought he was a rodeo clown!
In a statement from Jackson’s office, they explained that the misunderstanding arose due to the loud and frantic atmosphere surrounding the incident. Once law enforcement realized that Jackson was actually a medical professional coming to the aid of the young girl, they promptly released him. It’s a shame they didn’t ask him for a second opinion on the situation!
While the local sheriff’s office investigates the incident, details remain murky as to who exactly detained Jackson. It’s like a game of “Who’s Got the Congressman?” with multiple agencies on the scene. Perhaps they should have consulted a flowchart before manhandling a prominent figure like Jackson.
One eyewitness, a home healthcare and traveling nurse named Linda Dianne Shouse, shed some light on what unfolded that day. She recounted how law enforcement seemed uninterested in Jackson’s credentials, screaming that they “did not effing care” who he was. Talk about a lack of bedside manner! Fortunately, once they realized their mistake, they quickly released Jackson and offered their apologies. It’s a good thing they didn’t prescribe him a hefty fine for practicing rodeo medicine without a license!
