Texas Saves Border Wall Materials from Biden’s Fire Sale Disaster

The Biden administration appears to be caught in a bind, desperately trying to “Trump-proof” the federal government as Texas swoops in to save the day—or at least the border wall materials. Recent footage has surfaced, showcasing an absurd fire sale of unused border wall materials at an auction, complete with a starting bid of just $5. Liberal planners must be thrilled, watching their grandiose visions for an open-border utopia fade into the reality of bargain-bin infrastructure.

The star of this unfolding drama is Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, who boldly announced a willingness to buy up those wall materials at auction, with dollar signs in his eyes and a billion dollars at his disposal. The idea is to give those materials back to their rightful owner, Donald Trump, for his anticipated second term in office. Meanwhile, Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham is not just a spectator but is ready to play logistics officer, conveniently offering up state land for storage of this “acquired” wall. Surely, this is not the “unity” the Democrats envisioned!

The ongoing auctions are not exactly breaking news; they’ve reportedly been happening since 2023, spurred on by a Biden team that seems more interested in liquidation than border security. Despite recent dips in border encounters, one doesn’t need a crystal ball to predict Biden is not orchestrating this downward trend; it’s merely a brief moment of clarity amidst chaos. After all, no one can honestly conclude that Biden’s sudden care for border security came after the deluge of criticism from his own party this year.

Interwoven in these developments is the tragic story of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, allegedly a casualty of violent crime linked to ineffective border policies. The response from Texas has been the “Jocelyn Initiative,” which aims to establish facilities for deporting violent criminals. It’s a Texas-sized solution to a federal government that seems to have lost its moral compass amid liberal policies that leave the Lone Star State to fend for itself against a tide of criminals, rapists, and traffickers.

As Texas takes the reins on this border wall fiasco, it’s clear that the federal government’s lack of efficiency and foresight has left a gaping hole in U.S. security. Biden’s efforts to fortify his administration against Trump come off as little more than a futile exercise, especially with Texas ready to reclaim what should never have been abandoned. Trump will finish what he started, and it’s amusing to watch Biden scramble while Texas claims what was originally intended to protect Americans.
