In a recent announcement, an Islamist militant group called the Houthi rebels, also known as Ansar Allah, claimed responsibility for a series of attacks against Israel. This is the same group that the Biden administration shockingly removed from its list of terror organizations earlier this year. It’s becoming more obvious that the White House is out of its depth when it comes to dealing with global threats.

ABC News reported that both the U.S. military and the Israeli Defense Forces have been intercepting missiles and drones in recent weeks. These attacks have occurred since the terror attacks carried out by Hamas on October 7th. In the most recent incident, Israeli pilots successfully intercepted and shot down missiles aimed at their port in Eilat on the Red Sea.
The Houthi movement claimed responsibility for three attacks against Israel, but did not provide any specific details about the targets. Their spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree, stated that their armed forces launched ballistic missiles and drones at various Israeli targets. He also made it clear that they will continue carrying out such strikes until the Israeli aggression stops.
What is truly alarming is that just weeks after Biden took office, Secretary of State Antony Blinken removed the Houthi movement’s designation as a terrorist group. Blinken argued that such a label could deprive the Yemeni civilian population of basic necessities. Talk about twisted priorities! The Trump administration had only designated the Houthis as terrorists a month prior, acknowledging their brutal behavior.
The contrast between the Trump and Biden administrations is stark. Under Trump, the world was more stable, the economy was thriving, and Americans felt safer. But under Biden, conflicts are erupting across various continents, and there’s a looming risk of a world war. It’s evident that the current administration lacks the competence and understanding needed to tackle global threats. The fact that a group no longer branded as terrorists openly admitted to launching jihadist attacks against innocent Jews speaks volumes about the incompetence of the Biden administration. It’s time for them to wake up to the reality of the world we live in.
