Staff ReportsIn today’s political circus, President Biden’s use of the autopen has become a comical yet deeply concerning episode of incompetence. While he was supposed to lead this nation, what we got instead was a so-called presidency run by unelected staffers wielding an autopen like a royal scepter. It’s high time conservatives step up to clean up this mess.
For all the liberal hand-wringing over democracy, Biden’s White House has been using a machine to essentially rubber-stamp decisions supposedly made by the President himself. Handing over the reins to a device is a disgraceful abrogation of leadership. Thank goodness for Republican Rep. Addison McDowell, who is tackling this absurdity head-on with the cleverly named BIDEN Act.
The BIDEN Act, which would outlaw this magical pen technique, demands that actual presidential authority be exercised by a warm-blooded human—specifically, the Commander-in-Chief we elected, not his leftist handlers. If a president can’t even sign a document, perhaps it’s time to question who’s really running the country. Democrats were just fine with autopen governance, because it meant more unchecked power for their radical cronies.

This bill isn’t just common sense—it’s a necessary safeguard against the dangerous precedent set by the Biden administration. Both parties should rally behind this if they have any respect for the office of the presidency. But of course, expecting Democrats to act with integrity is like waiting for pigs to fly. Their interest in unbridled power trumps any commitment to proper governance. Just another example of their blatant hypocrisy.
And here’s the kicker: autopen-gate could happen again. The ignorance of those who oppose the BIDEN Act will only open the door for more irresponsible use of power. The lukewarm pushback from the other side reveals their real intentions. They’re not about safeguarding American democracy—they’re about circumventing it for their globalist agenda.
Does the American presidency deserve more respect than being reduced to the whims of a Demi-God-like automatic pen? Here’s hoping McDowell’s bill yanks Biden’s power pen away for good and restores some semblance of constitutional honor.
