The View’s Far-Left Conspiracy Tales Distract from Biden’s Real Issues

Under the fluorescent lights of ABC’s “The View,” the bizarre antics of the far-left co-hosts never fail to entertain—or alarm. On a particularly wild Thursday episode, Whoopi Goldberg and her liberal comrades dove into conspiracy theories that not only raised eyebrows but also showcased their apparent desperation to see President-Elect Donald Trump ousted, and not just from the Oval Office.

Goldberg, always eager to connect the dots, proposed a theory involving Vice President-Elect JD Vance and Elon Musk, the eccentric head of Tesla and SpaceX. She suggested these two might be scheming to eliminate Trump through some extraordinarily underhanded tactics. It seems that on “The View,” reality takes a backseat to fantasy, as fantasy provides a more dramatic narrative for the show’s audience. Imagining a dark plot to “get rid of” Trump fits snugly into the show’s narrative fabric and provides a perfect storm of chaos and conspiracy for their viewership.

As the conversation veered into bizarre territory, the co-hosts exchanged thoughts, with Behar even implying that Musk and Vance might be laying down plans for chaos in light of Trump’s impending presidency. One can only wonder how long these ladies will keep spinning tales of wild intrigue while conveniently ignoring the real chaos happening under the Democrats’ watch—namely, the mental decline of President Biden. Nevertheless, they were more focused on their playful banter surrounding metaphorical trips over a leg sticking out, a disturbing and fanciful notion that borders on the absurd.

Things took a turn post-commercial break when Goldberg, perhaps realizing the ramifications of their conversation, attempted to clarify her words. The co-hosts were forced into damage control mode, insisting they did not wish any harm upon Trump, demonstrating the often dis-ingenuous nature of their discussions. At least one of them acknowledged the foolishness of their comments, but it raised some questions about accountability—after all, how many times do liberal pundits dodge the consequences of their outrageous statements?

The far-left ladies of “The View” would do well to reflect on the glaring hypocrisy in their narratives. While they speculate about plots against Trump, they conveniently ignore how Biden, a man who could barely muster the energy to campaign, was materially propped up by party insiders and media allies. If there’s any real coup to discuss, it lies in how the Democrats slid Kamala Harris into the vice-presidential spot without ever facing the voters in a primary. But no, that doesn’t make for good television drama, so the ladies steer clear of inconvenient truths.

As the days of the Biden-Harris administration dwindle down, the real question isn’t “Who’s in charge?” as “The View” co-hosts would have their audience believe. It’s more like, “Where’s Joe?” It’s hard to miss a president who constantly needs to be ushered around by aides, especially when the American people are left wondering who actually is in command. But diving into the absurdities of current leadership would likely unravel their preconceptions and narratives—a risk the co-hosts seem unwilling to take. In short, the prancing Woketopia of “The View” continues to spin tales, while the real state of affairs remains glaringly unattended.
