President Donald Trump has once again voiced out his strong opinions, calling for any Republican voting against the censure of Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff to be “immediately primaried.” Trump took to Truth Social to praise Rep. Anna Paulina Luna for being a “Star” in the fight against “lowlifes” like Adam “Shifty” Schiff, who he believes should be imprisoned for lying, deceit, and deception. Luna introduced a resolution recommending a $16 million fine for Schiff’s misinformation, but twenty Republicans voted to kill the bill. Trump insists that any Republican voting against censuring Schiff “should immediately be primaried.”

After the failed first attempt, Luna plans to reintroduce the resolution for Adam Schiff’s censure but without the fine in following week. Schiff was heavily involved in the Trump-Russia collusion hoax and was the impeachment manager during one of Trump’s impeachment hearings on the Hill. Schiff reportedly lied about the Trump-Russia investigation, which in Luna’s opinion, tore the country apart. Schiff claimed that he had “circumstantial evidence” that Trump and his campaign “colluded” with Russia, which later turned out to be a total lie.

So there is no confusion (as some did not accurately read the bill) I will be filing a privileged motion to censure & send Schiff to ethics for investigation.

The resolution to censure and condemn Schiff also notes that Schiff raised funds for his false claims against Trump, calling for him to be fined half of the $32 million spent on the investigation of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. Schiff did not stop at lying about the collusion hoax; he also famously recited a fake conversation between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during an impeachment hearing and held secret witness interviews in the Capitol basement.
Despite twenty Republicans voting with Democrats to stop the ethics investigation, censure, and fine against Adam Schiff, Trump and Luna remain adamant in their pursuit of justice. Trump argues that as the majority of Republicans are passionate about the truth, there are plenty of qualified candidates, should any holdouts be “primaried.” In Luna’s case and with the support of Trump, justice will be served.
