Former President Trump has called out Vice President Kamala Harris for her evasive tactics surrounding her gun ownership, suggesting that if she does indeed possess a firearm, she should spill the beans on which one it is. This comes in light of comments made by Harris in recent public appearances, including her chat with Oprah Winfrey, wherein she commented about firing a weapon if an intruder entered her home. Apparently, for someone who’s all about transparency, keeping the type of gun a secret isn’t quite on-brand for Harris.

Back in her 2020 campaign days, Harris casually acknowledged owning a firearm, claiming it was a cute little handgun that conveniently fits in her purse. Yet, Harris’s team has been as tight-lipped as a clam when asked for further details about this mysterious piece. With all the questions surrounding what kind of weapon it is, when she bought it, and whether she actually uses it for self-defense, one might wonder if Harris treats this gun the same way she treats facts—something to bend and twist at will.
Breitbart News has been on the case, trying to extract some clarity from Harris’s campaign staff, including notable names like Brian Fallon and Ian Sams. However, instead of answers, they’ve received nothing but radio silence, which is becoming alarmingly familiar among those who follow this administration. Even CNN’s Jim Acosta wasn’t able to crack the nut. When asked about Harris’s firearm, one staffer, Adrienne Elrod, simply demurred, as if she were face-to-face with a tricky exam question.

According to Trump, this lack of clarity is nothing short of disgraceful, suggesting that it indicates Harris might not be fully truthful about her history with firearms. He reminded his audience that Harris has been protected by armed guards for years, drawing attention to the irony of her current rhetoric about gun control when her own security detail doesn’t seem to share her supposed beliefs. It appears that an armed society isn’t just about self-defense; it’s also about maintaining a barrier between politicians and the very laws they wish to impose on the general populace.
As if her actions haven’t already raised eyebrows, a new report surfaced claiming that Harris previously backed a gun confiscation measure while she was District Attorney in San Francisco. It turns out that back in 2005, she lent her support to Proposition H, which sought to ban handguns from the city altogether—just the type of initiative that would have made any gun owner’s blood boil. With a significant portion of the population leaning towards the Second Amendment, it’s no wonder Harris’s current claims about gun ownership ring hollow, considering her past actions lay bare a desire to strip away the rights of law-abiding citizens.
