Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to criticize President Joe Biden’s handling of the growing conflicts in the Middle East. Trump highlighted the irony of dropping bombs in the Middle East, a region where he claimed victory over ISIS during his presidency. He also called out Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, who has been absent for five days and is allegedly running the war from his hospital bed. Trump didn’t miss the opportunity to remind everyone of the embarrassing surrender in Afghanistan under Biden’s leadership, where no one was held accountable.
🚨🚨🚨🚨Trump: ‘We Have Wars in Ukraine, Israel, and Yemen’ but Not on Southern Border https://t.co/nH8I4GQs5Q

Adding insult to injury, Trump pointed out that while we have wars in Ukraine, Israel, and Yemen, there is no “war” on our Southern Border. He sarcastically praised Biden’s logic in prioritizing conflicts abroad over the crisis at our own border. In true Trump fashion, he bluntly declared Biden as the worst President in U.S. history.
Meanwhile, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has been in the hospital since January 1, receiving treatment for complications related to prostate cancer. Biden only found out about Austin’s hospitalization on January 4 and was unaware of the cancer diagnosis until last week. Despite Austin’s absence, the U.S. military conducted strikes on Houthi forces in Yemen under Biden’s command. The Pentagon claimed that Austin was actively involved in directing and monitoring the strikes from his hospital room.
It remains to be seen when Austin will be released from the hospital, but the Pentagon assures that his condition is “good.” However, the Houthis have vowed to retaliate against these U.S. strikes. Trump’s scathing criticism serves as a reminder of the challenges faced by the current administration in the Middle East and the ongoing border crisis that he believes is being overlooked by Biden.
