Former President Donald Trump has suggested that President Biden should be tested for drugs before their upcoming debates. The former president has raised concerns about Mr. Biden’s performance, particularly during his March 7 speech in front of Congress, asserting that the president appeared “jacked up.” Republican Rep. Greg Murphy, a urologist from North Carolina, also questioned Mr. Biden’s behavior during the address, alleging that the president seemed to be “on something” without providing concrete evidence.
People have criticized Mr. Biden’s demeanor during the speech, with some suggesting that he may have been under the influence of a substance. The debate between Mr. Biden and Mr. Trump is scheduled for June 27 and Sept. 10, and Mr. Trump’s call for drug testing is likely to fuel further discussion and scrutiny of the president’s performances on the debate stage.
