Roman’s motion asserts that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis maintained an inappropriate relationship during the case, appointing her romantic partner, Nathan Wade, as the special prosecutor, a move that Roman claims lacked legal authority. Even more damning are the allegations that Willis and Wade misused the case's legal fees for personal gain, allegedly indulging in extravagant vacations at taxpayers' expense. Shockingly, the filing suggests that Wade received over half a million dollars for his services.
However, despite these explosive claims, the motion lacks solid evidence to substantiate the alleged romantic ties between Willis and Wade. Roman’s lawyer contends that the pair engaged in non-work-related trips and that Wade bought tickets for joint travel on cruise lines.
