During an interview on Fox News Sunday, Trump's attorney, Alina Habba defended the former president against the charges brought against him by the Georgia prosecutors. She noted that the recent mug shot of Trump was one of the best things to happen to him.
According to Habba, Trump is innocent of all the charges except for those that are proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
During the interview, Habba criticized the supposed collaboration between Fani Willis, the district attorney of Georgia, and Jack Smith, the head of the local government. She noted that the two were working together to undermine Trump. Habba also discussed the various challenges that would be faced by Trump if he decides to run for president.
Trump's lawyers have called the case against him a desperate attempt at getting rid of him. They also accused Fani Willis of using politics to undermine the president. Trump himself has criticized the district attorney's credibility by suggesting that she had an affair with a gang member. Despite the charges, many people in Fulton County believe that Trump is innocent.

Surveys conducted after the charges were made show that Trump remains the overwhelming favorite to beat Joe Biden in the next presidential election.
Habba praised Trump's intelligence and his familiarity with the cases, noting that he was not your average person. She also sympathized with the defendants, noting that they had endured a stressful experience when they testified before a grand jury. She vowed that Trump's lawyers would prove his innocence and that they would fight for his release.
If Trump is to win the election, he will have to overcome the multiple criminal charges that have been brought against him. Trump and his supporters have called the cases against him politically motivated. While prosecutors in Washington, DC, Manhattan, and Georgia maintain that they are following the law, the House Republicans in Georgia are conducting their own investigations into the allegations against Fani Willis.
