Trump Lawyer Reveals Criminal Trials to Stretch into Fall by Design!

Former President Donald Trump faced processing at Atlanta’s Fulton County Jail as part of a case brought by District Attorney Fani Willis. One of Trump’s attorneys, Alina Habba, has claimed that the indictments brought against him, including the one by Special Counsel Jack Smith, amount to election interference. Habba, a spokesperson for Trump’s legal team, made these arguments during an interview with Fox News Sunday host Shannon Bream.

Habba stated that they are not concerned because they are aware of the facts of the cases, though she couldn’t elaborate due to privileged reasons. She described the prosecution tactics as an attempt to tie Trump up and emphasized that they are definitely political. Habba further suggested that both Fani Willis and Jack Smith should be investigated for their motivations in pursuing these cases, with Jim Jordan already looking into Willis’s actions.

In a letter released by Jordan, he expressed concerns about the potential politically motivated nature of Willis’s indictment and prosecution. Jordan highlighted how Willis launched a campaign fundraising website that focused on her investigation of Trump just four days before the indictment was dropped. This timing raises serious questions about the motives behind the case.

Habba continued the interview by predicting that the trial dates in Trump’s cases would be unrealistic and would have to be moved. She characterized the situation as theatrics and argued that no judge would allow Trump to be on two trials at once in different states, as there is significant overlap between the cases. Habba also raised suspicions about the timing of the court dates, suggesting that they were intentionally scheduled to keep Trump off the campaign trail.

Meanwhile, Trump himself is attempting to fundraise off his legal troubles, recently selling campaign merchandise featuring his mugshot. This shows that he is not backing down and remains determined to fight back against what he perceives as unfair targeting by the legal system.
