Former President Donald Trump’s legal team has filed a motion for a mistrial in his New York fraud case, citing bias from the judge and the principal law clerk. The motion specifically mentions Judge Arthur Engoron, who is accused of making public comments about the case on a Wheatley School alumni page that he appears to run. The motion also raises concerns about the principal law clerk, who has allegedly acted as a “co-judge” by conferring with Engoron before issuing orders. Trump’s counsel also claims that the law clerk has made partisan political contributions that exceed strict limits.

This is just another example of the deep bias against Trump in the legal system. It’s clear that the judge and his clerk are politically motivated and have no interest in fairness or justice. Trump has faced hostility from the courts since the beginning, with the judge imposing fines on his legal team and even revoking the business licenses of his companies. It’s no wonder that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has filed a judicial complaint against Judge Engoron.
Despite these legal battles, Trump continues to push ahead and has already released his agenda for a potential second term. It’s clear that he is the target of a witch hunt by his political opponents, who will stop at nothing to try to discredit and destroy him. But Trump is resilient, and he has shown time and time again that he can overcome any obstacle thrown his way. The 2024 presidential contest is shaping up to be another battle between Trump and the establishment, and I have no doubt that Trump will come out on top.
