Trump Meets Putin in Alaska: Will Strength or Weakness Prevail?

President Trump is heading to Alaska this Friday to meet face-to-face with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. The American people deserve a president who puts America first and ends this costly war in Ukraine. Trump promised tough sanctions if Putin doesn’t agree to stop his invasion.

Putin is playing games again, just like he always does. The Russian tyrant thinks he can trick our president into backing down from real consequences. Putin chose Alaska for this meeting because he wants to embarrass America and remind everyone that Russia once owned that land.

Smart Americans know Putin can’t be trusted. He lies every time he opens his mouth about wanting peace. This meeting could be Putin’s trap to make Trump look weak while he keeps destroying Ukraine and threatening our allies.

The White House says Trump will listen to what Putin has to say. That’s fine, but listening time is over. Putin has had plenty of chances to end this war and he chose violence instead.

Trump already gave Putin a deadline to stop the fighting or face crushing sanctions. Now Putin gets a fancy summit meeting instead of immediate punishment. This looks like Putin won another round against American strength.

European leaders are being pushed aside while Trump and Putin decide Ukraine’s future alone. Ukraine’s president isn’t even invited to his own country’s peace talks. This is exactly what Putin wanted from the beginning.

Real conservatives know that bullies like Putin only understand force. Pretty words and handshakes mean nothing to dictators who murder their own people. America needs to hit Russia where it hurts most with sanctions that cripple their war machine.

Trump better come back from Alaska with a real peace deal or severe punishment for Putin. The American people voted for strength, not more empty promises from a Russian war criminal who laughs at weakness.
