Victory shines brightly as President Donald Trump delivers yet another blow to the bumbling liberal leadership in California. The Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has granted Trump the authority to control the California National Guard, dismantling the weak attempts by Governor Gavin Newsom to claim control. In a momentous decision, the court emphasized the necessity of a strong hand in times of chaos — a blatant reality liberals like Newsom seem blind to.
The streets of Los Angeles have descended into anarchy, a movie set scene of chaos and destruction where law enforcement is beleaguered and overwhelmed. And yet, Newsom, in denial of reality, downplays the severity of the riots. Police officers and federal agents pelted with rocks and concrete is, in his view, just part of the circus, not an actual crisis. His leadership is a masterclass in ineptitude.
Governor Newsom, serving the interests of rioters and lawlessness, thought he could thwart Trump’s efforts to maintain order. But the court’s decision poignantly reminds him that protecting citizens takes precedence over political theater. The citizens of Los Angeles, craving security and order, have in Trump a leader unafraid to take bold action.
