Trump: Peace Lost in Middle East Due to Rigged 2020 Election

Former President Donald Trump spoke exclusively with Breitbart News, expressing his belief that had the 2020 election not been “rigged,” and had he remained in the White House, the Middle East would be experiencing a true era of peace and prosperity. Trump expressed his disappointment with the current state of the region, blaming President Joe Biden’s administration for the lack of progress and the destabilization of the area.

During Trump’s presidency, multiple Arab nations, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan, had joined the historic Abraham Accords, a significant step in normalizing relations with Israel. Trump claimed that even more countries, possibly including Iran and Saudi Arabia, were on the verge of joining the Accords had he remained in office. However, he believes that Biden’s election and foreign policy approach have stifled any potential progress, leading to the region’s current turmoil.

In the interview, Trump highlighted his firm stance against Iran during his presidency, utilizing tough financial sanctions and the targeted killing of Qassem Soleimani to pressure the Islamic Republic. He stressed that his approach had left Iran financially crippled, preventing them from funding groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. Trump also suggested that, under his leadership, decisive action would have thwarted the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel, which he attributed to Hamas, largely funded by Iran.

Furthermore, Trump criticized Biden’s foreign policy vision, particularly Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s indication of reverting to previous failed approaches in the Middle East. He questioned Biden’s handling of foreign adversaries, alleging that Biden’s acceptance of money from foreign entities, including the Chinese Community Party, compromised his loyalty and led to inadequate responses to global challenges.

In Trump’s view, Biden’s reluctance to confront countries like China indicated a compromising situation, dubbing Biden a “Manchurian candidate” who had been financially influenced by numerous global entities. Trump’s portrayal of Biden as compromised and incapable of safeguarding America’s interests underlines his frustration with the current administration’s foreign policy decisions.
