In a fiery speech at Mar-a-Lago on Super Tuesday, former President Donald Trump did not hold back in his swipes at President Joe Biden, completely ignoring his Republican primary opponent, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley. It was quite the showdown as Trump boasted about his past achievements and gave a harsh tongue lashing to Biden. But what really turned heads was his total snub of Haley, who was barely even mentioned in his address. It seems like Trump is setting his sights on the general election against Biden, putting Haley in the rearview mirror.
The ex-president unloaded on Biden, especially targeting the shocking news of 320,000 “inadmissible” immigrants secretly flown into the United States under the Biden administration’s watch. Trump blasted Biden over this, emphasizing how these migrants were flown in from “parts unknown” and bypassed proper border procedures. He warned that the open borders policy would bring about the downfall of our great nation. It was a no-holds-barred takedown of Biden’s immigration policies.
And that’s not all. Trump didn’t hold back on slamming Biden’s handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal, his approach to China, and a whole laundry list of other topics. He barely even touched on his own landslide victory in the Tuesday primaries, making it evident that he’s primed and ready to lock horns with Biden in the upcoming election.
Meanwhile, Haley managed to secure a lone win in the state of Vermont on Super Tuesday, marking her first state primary victory. Even so, Trump cleaned up in every other state and is steamrolling toward the number of delegates needed to clinch the Republican nomination. It’s becoming crystal clear that Trump has his eyes firmly fixed on the prize, and he’s not about to let anyone or anything get in his way – not even a fellow Republican challenger like Haley. The political battleground is heating up, and nothing is off-limits in the race to the finish line.
