Following a resounding victory in the South Carolina primary, Trump’s political prowess has only strengthened, leaving President Joe Biden grasping at straws to tarnish the former President’s reputation. Biden’s attempts to sow fear among Americans about a potential second term for Trump have fallen flat, as polls show that Americans trust Trump more on critical issues such as the economy, immigration, inflation, and international conflicts.
In a laughable attempt to vilify Trump, Biden accused him of selling out American families for personal gain, conveniently forgetting his own involvement in corrupt overseas dealings that lined his own pockets. It’s the classic case of the pot calling the kettle black, as Biden tries to deflect attention from his own shady dealings. The irony is simply delicious.
Not content with spreading baseless fear about Trump’s presidency, Biden also took aim at the issue of abortion, accusing Trump of infringing upon women’s rights. It is no surprise that Biden would resort to such absurd claims, as his own party continues to peddle misinformation and fearmongering to advance their agenda.
In the face of Trump’s overwhelming victory in the primaries and the sheer panic within the Democratic party, it’s no wonder that Governor Gavin Newsom of California sees former ambassador Nikki Haley as a formidable opponent to Trump. Despite the desperate attempts to rally behind Haley, Trump’s dominance in the primaries leaves little room for doubt about his strength and popularity.
Even as Trump’s victory seems inevitable, there are still delusional voices within the Democratic party, such as Rep. James Clyburn, who cling to the belief that Haley stands a chance against Trump. The disconnect from reality is astounding, as the overwhelming support for Trump in the primaries paints a clear picture of his unwavering support among the American people.
In the face of Trump’s unstoppable momentum, it’s no wonder that Democrats are resorting to desperate measures to halt his rise to power once again. But as the saying goes, you can’t stop the Trump train, and Democrats are in for a bumpy ride in the upcoming election.
