In a not-so-shocking turn of events, former President Donald J. Trump has once again proven his domination over Nikki Haley in the Republican primary. With a substantial 83 percent of the vote count, Trump secured a whopping 68 percent, leaving Haley in the dust with a measly 26 percent. It’s no surprise, really. While Trump towers over the competition, Haley stubbornly clings to a race where the path to victory for her is about as clear as mud.

The poor soul is running a campaign that’s deader than a doornail. Trump strutted into Michigan with a comfortable lead, leaving Haley in the dust with polls showing him ahead by a landslide. It’s abundantly clear that Republican voters have spoken and made their choice. Yet, here we have Haley, evidently oblivious to the fact that she’s about as popular as a skunk at a picnic among the conservative base she claims to represent.
Trump’s triumphant triumph in the Wolverine State is a decisive blow to his ‘rival,’ marking his largest victory margin in the past four contests. Haley’s determination to carry on this hopeless endeavor leading up to Super Tuesday is nothing short of a baffling display of self-destruction. The Koch Brothers network, who threw their weight behind Haley, has slammed the brakes on supporting her further, recognizing her as a lost cause in the mission to thwart Trump.
Haley’s credibility was already hanging by a thread after her third-place finish in the Iowa Caucuses, and any hope she had left vanished when she failed to impede Trump in the New Hampshire primary. She’s like a glutton for punishment, persisting in a race where her chances of success are about as likely as winning the lottery without buying a ticket.
But hey, if you’re curious about the Democrats and those who went ‘uncommitted’ in protest of Biden and the Israel-Hamas conflict, you can find that elsewhere.
