Even when at least 25 eyewitnesses, including former national security officials, refuted Goldberg’s tale, the liberal media machine stubbornly upheld the lie. Entries in government records clearly indicated that inclement weather, not disdain for heroes, led to the canceled trip to the American military cemetery. Facts, however, have never been the left’s strong suit when faux narratives serve their agenda better.
Trump’s decision to engage with Goldberg isn’t reckless, as some pundits suggest. It’s a brilliant play by a political chess master with nothing to lose. Trump has already secured his place in history, having won the election. This interview serves as an opportunity to go head-to-head with the media and expose their hypocrisy and bias for all to see. It’s as if Trump is inviting the media to reveal whether they can report the truth, something they’ve historically struggled with when it involves real conservative accomplishments.
