Former President Trump recently gave GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy some advice. Since starting his campaign, Ramaswamy has been making a lot of news. In an interview with Glenn Beck, Trump told Ramaswamy to be careful when attacking Democrats because he is becoming too controversial. "He's getting a little bit more out there. He's becoming a little bit more divisive. I'd tell him to watch out a little bit. Some things you just have to keep to yourself for a while, right?" Trump said to the young candidate, giving him some nice advice. As a traditional Republican, it's nice to see Trump looking out for the reputation of the party and telling Ramaswamy to be careful with what he says.

Despite the warning, Trump was nice to Ramaswamy and praised him for being smart and full of energy. He agreed that the GOP candidate has made himself stand out and could become "some kind of something." A lot of praise from the past president, for sure. But when asked if Ramaswamy could be his running mate, Trump dodged the question and just said that he thinks Ramaswamy is a great guy. As a Republican, I find it interesting that Trump isn't clear about this. He might have other ideas for his possible vice president.
On the other hand, Ramaswamy quickly put an end to any talk that he might become Trump's vice president. He made it clear that his main concern is the country and not his own goals. He thinks that the only way he can bring the country together is to lead the cause from the White House. It's a big step for a candidate who isn't very well known. As a conservative, you can appreciate how committed Ramaswamy is to his vision for the country, even if it means turning down a chance to work with Trump.
