The border crisis has finally hit the brakes, just like a runaway train screeching to a halt. With the immigration backlog dropping rapidly and apprehensions reaching historic lows, it’s clear that real leadership makes all the difference. Under the previous administration, the borders were a free-for-all, but something amazing has happened: Donald Trump is back in office.
Under Biden’s watch, the border was a leaky faucet, flooding with illegal immigrants who laughed at court dates as if they were optional. It wasn’t hard to see the disdain for American laws and jobs under this globalist agenda. The Biden administration seemed intent on expanding the crisis as a twisted play for amnesty. But Trump’s return means a recommitment to the rule of law and securing the borders, exactly what America signed up for in the last election.
Statistics don’t lie. The immigration court backlog, which had grown into a monstrous behemoth of 4 million cases, is finally shrinking. This wasn’t just a blip on the radar—this was a testament to America reclaiming control and demanding action, not empty promises. The previous administration turned a blind eye to Congress’s mandates on migrant detention, releasing individuals into the U.S. and swamping the system. The courts were overwhelmed, but perhaps that’s what the liberals wanted: chaos leading to amnesty.

The numbers tell a story of a nation that is back on its feet. With significant reductions in both apprehensions and “gotaways,” it’s hard not to see the benefits of a strict border policy. The bleeding heart liberals can continue to whine about human rights, but real Americans know that strong borders mean a strong nation.
The border should not be a revolving door for illegal aliens plotting to step over them while laughing at our laws. Finally, with a no-nonsense administration, America is taking its first steps towards sanity. How long before the left tries to undo all this progress? Time to stay vigilant, America, because if anything’s certain, it’s that the battle for our borders is far from over.
