The White House has confirmed what millions already knew: President Donald Trump is in “excellent” health, and naturally, this has sent Democrats into a frenzy. The recent release of Trump’s annual physical exam results not only showcased robust vitals, including a resting heart rate of 62 beats per minute and blood pressure that could make a 20-year-old jealous, but it also established that he is more than capable of fulfilling the responsibilities of the Commander-in-Chief.
The president’s lab results were, as one might expect, as pristine as his golf game on a sunny day. Scoring a perfect 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment would make even the most dedicated mental athlete proud. On top of that, screenings for depression and anxiety revealed nothing other than the usual range, which is a stark contrast to the perpetual gloominess often associated with the left’s outlook. Even the dermatological evaluation, which found minor sun damage, could be chalked up to the president’s commitment to keeping America sunny and bright—literally.
As predictable as a daytime soap opera, the Democrats fired up their keyboards and unleashed a torrent of complaints on social media. It appears that the left cannot fathom the notion of a healthy, vibrant president. Their feeble attempts to cast doubt on the exam results were humorous bordering on tragic. Instead of celebrating an American leader in good health, they were more concerned with perpetuating the narrative that suggests Trump, often dubbed “the Orange Man What Is Bad,” is somehow struggling on par with the mental misfires of the current weekend-at-Bernie’s-style occupant of the White House.

Responses from left-leaning critics ranged from baseless accusations that the doctor should be investigated, to claims that the cognitive test can’t possibly reflect reality if it wasn’t a struggle. This bizarre commentary seems to ignore the true meaning behind a clean bill of health. Even reality-defying politicians, including a certain doctor with an impressive Twitter following, are desperate to find cognitive decline that simply isn’t there. Clearly, they were hoping the doctor would slip up, but much like their previous “impeachment” efforts, they left empty-handed.
The whiplash-inducing endurance of their outrage proves that the left hasn’t quite grasped the concept of winning—or, in this case, losing gracefully. Time and again, they’ve shown that one of their favorite pastimes is to throw a tantrum whenever Trump shows even the slightest hint of success, even something as basic as a healthy physical exam. Instead of treating themselves to the notion of a strong and energetic president, they seem committed to their own dysfunctional mentality. Could it be that they revel in their angst more than they care about the well-being of the nation?
In summary, the president’s excellent health ought to be a unifying force, and yet it has sent shockwaves through the left’s collective psyche. One might think that after years of public spectacle, the left would have learned to keep its reactions at least semi-rational. Instead, their antics reveal a party that would rather argue against a constitutionally valid president than acknowledge the reality of a healthy leader in the White House. This latest episode serves as yet another reminder that their bar for sanity remains perpetually low.
